Writing speed, structure and editing

Since starting this blog, I've become a quicker writer. Instead of waiting for the perfect sentence and structure, I just write something that more or less works. In that way, it has fulfilled one of the goals that I set for it.

When writing a diary, though, I achieve an even better writing speed. There, I don't even have to think about disposition or how it sounds. I wonder if that's something that I should try here too, and only after the fact edit the text? Maybe it's better the way it is, so I don't have to edit to such a large extent? For now, it seems easier to continue writing pretty freely, but still aim not to jumble structure, sentences and words too much.

I suppose this post is proof of the rambling technique that I'm using... which is why I also categorize most posts as "Rambling".
