Yesterday, I wrote about the risk of thinking in public. More generally, about being a public figure.
Today, I read Steve Klabnik's post on harassment in the Rust community, a community otherwise known for being welcoming. We humans have a tendency to take things for granted, and toward groupthink.
While being a woman or a minority probably exposes you to more harsh criticism, providing anything at all to the public seems to come with a risk.
